Updates for the Bedminster Square Boil Water Advisory -please CLICK

7/07/26

The Bedminster Square boil water advisory remains in effect until passing bacteriological test results are received and we notify you that advisory is no longer in effect.

The required sampling has been completed, and we will provide another update as soon as the official results are available.

Due to an equipment malfunction causing a loss of pressure, Bedminster Square residents are under a boil water advisory. A boil water advisory is required by PADEP any time that a water system experiences a drop in system pressure below a minimum threshold. A loss in positive pressure is a signal of the existence of a condition that could allow contamination to enter the distribution system through back-flow, back-pressure, or back-siphonage. As a result there is an increased chance that water may contain disease causing organisms. The Bedminster Authority advises that all water that will be consumed be boiled for at least one minute before being used.
