8/13/26 Pennland Farms Update

Beginning on Monday 8/10/26 the Pennland Farms Wastewater Treatment Plant was approved to start discharging effluent. The plant is now functioning as designed and will no longer require all plant flow to be trucked offsite for treatment. We will still continue to haul wasted sludge offsite as we always have, however these trucks will be intermittent and not a daily occurrence. We understand that the truck traffic was disruptive to the residents who live in the surrounding neighborhoods and appreciate all of your tolerance during the time we were unable to discharge. We will continue to address operational issues as they arise in the manner that will have the least impact on the residents.
